2. What Personal Data We Process

When you vis­it the web­site, tech­ni­cal data relat­ed to the oper­a­tion and secu­ri­ty of the web­site may be processed, in par­tic­u­lar your IP address, date and time of the request, request­ed URL, infor­ma­tion about your brows­er and device, and data con­tained in stan­dard serv­er logs.

If you con­tact us by e‑mail or via the Send inquiry form, we process the data you pro­vide to us, in par­tic­u­lar your name, e‑mail address, the con­tent of your mes­sage and infor­ma­tion relat­ed to the rel­e­vant project or inquiry.

If you con­sent to ana­lyt­ics cook­ies, Google Analytics may also process data about how you use the web­site, such as infor­ma­tion about pages vis­it­ed, ses­sions, device type, brows­er, approx­i­mate geo­graph­ic area and how you arrived at the website.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

Data pro­vid­ed by e‑mail or through the inquiry form is processed for the pur­pose of han­dling your inquiry, com­mu­ni­cat­ing with you and, where applic­a­ble, tak­ing steps towards enter­ing into a con­tract. Depending on the nature of the com­mu­ni­ca­tion, the legal basis is either tak­ing steps at the request of the data sub­ject pri­or to enter­ing into a con­tract or the controller’s legit­i­mate inter­est in han­dling ordi­nary communications.

Technical data relat­ed to the oper­a­tion of the web­site is processed for the pur­pose of ensur­ing its func­tion­al­i­ty, secu­ri­ty, pro­tec­tion against mis­use and trou­bleshoot­ing. The legal basis is the controller’s legit­i­mate inter­est in the secure and reli­able oper­a­tion of the website.

Data col­lect­ed through Google Analytics is processed for the pur­pose of mea­sur­ing web­site traf­fic and eval­u­at­ing how the web­site is used. Analytics cook­ies are used only on the basis of the visitor’s pri­or consent.

4. Google Analytics

The web­site uses Google Analytics 4, pro­vid­ed by Google Ireland Limited.

Google Analytics is used for sta­tis­ti­cal eval­u­a­tion of web­site traf­fic and usage.

According to Google, indi­vid­ual IP address­es of users from the European Union, Switzerland and the United Kingdom are not logged or stored. An IP address may be used to derive an approx­i­mate geo­graph­ic area and is then discarded.

Google Analytics is used only if the vis­i­tor con­sents to ana­lyt­ics cook­ies. Consent can be with­drawn at any time through the cook­ie set­tings avail­able on the website.

The reten­tion peri­od of data in Google Analytics is gov­erned by the set­tings of the rel­e­vant Google Analytics ser­vice. Data is retained only for the peri­od nec­es­sary for sta­tis­ti­cal eval­u­a­tion of web­site traf­fic. The stan­dard life­time of Google Analytics cook­ies is described in the Cookie Policy.

In con­nec­tion with the use of Google ser­vices, per­son­al data may in cer­tain cir­cum­stances be trans­ferred out­side the European Economic Area. Google uses trans­fer mech­a­nisms pro­vid­ed for under applic­a­ble law, includ­ing the EU – US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

5. Recipients and Processors of Personal Data

For the tech­ni­cal oper­a­tion of the web­site, we use the ser­vices of Blueboard​.cz s. r. o., which pro­vides web hosting.

The web­site also uses ser­vices pro­vid­ed by Cloudflare, Inc., in par­tic­u­lar for con­tent deliv­ery, web­site secu­ri­ty and pro­tec­tion against mali­cious traf­fic. Cloudflare may process tech­ni­cal data about web­site vis­i­tors when pro­vid­ing these services.

Other recip­i­ents may include e‑mail ser­vice providers and per­sons respon­si­ble for the tech­ni­cal admin­is­tra­tion of the web­site, always only to the extent nec­es­sary for the pro­vi­sion of the rel­e­vant service.

Personal data is not sold to third parties.

6. Retention Period

Data from con­tact mes­sages and inquiries is retained for the peri­od nec­es­sary to han­dle the com­mu­ni­ca­tion and sub­se­quent­ly for the peri­od required to pro­tect poten­tial legal claims.

If the com­mu­ni­ca­tion leads to a con­trac­tu­al rela­tion­ship, cer­tain data may be retained for a longer peri­od where required by account­ing, tax or oth­er legal obligations.

Technical oper­a­tional logs are retained only for the peri­od nec­es­sary for secu­ri­ty, trou­bleshoot­ing and pro­tec­tion of the website.

Google Analytics data is retained accord­ing to the reten­tion set­tings con­fig­ured in the rel­e­vant Google Analytics ser­vice and accord­ing to the set­tings of indi­vid­ual cookies.

Subject to the con­di­tions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to access your per­son­al data, request rec­ti­fi­ca­tion or era­sure, restrict pro­cess­ing, request data porta­bil­i­ty and object to pro­cess­ing based on legit­i­mate interests.

Where pro­cess­ing is based on your con­sent, you may with­draw that con­sent at any time. Withdrawal of con­sent does not affect the law­ful­ness of pro­cess­ing car­ried out before the withdrawal.
